Terms of Sale
SALES GUARANTEE: If not completely satisfied, please first notify me either in writing or by telephone, after which return your purchase in the same condition as sent to you within three (3) days of delivery for a full refund of your purchase less packing, shipping and insurance costs, otherwise buyer acknowledges full satisfaction and the sale is final. No refunds on layaways, custom orders, exchanges, trades, items that have been tinkered with or disassembled, in store, third party, or international sales. Payments received from a buyer having more than one item on layaway are applied proratably until all items are fully paid. Buyer may pay by Cashier's Check, Personal Check (subject to clear) or Postal Money Order, only. Buyers and Consignors pay all packing, shipping and insurance costs and assume all risk of damage or loss; and at its discretion, Ambroseantiques.com may return any consignment(s) with all terms still applicable. All items are sold as collector's items with no safety or other guarantee including fitness or merchantability. All parties agree that no claim or dispute may be raised in any jurisdiction other than Connecticut and that only Connecticut law shall apply. The Parties also agree to waive any long-arm or other rule to the contrary and consent to Connecticut's sole jurisdiction. Buyer is responsible for complying with all national, federal, state and local laws and represents that its purchase is legal in its area and is not restricted by law. A $10.00 per Diem storage fee will apply to each left behind, abandoned, or stored item and there shall be no refund on such item. The nature of Antique Arms and Antiques in general, is such that these items are rarely in perfect condition and are likely, due to their age and use, to exhibit some signs of wear, damages, imperfections, restoration and repair. Therefore, descriptions, on this website, are an aid and any statement about “condition” is an opinion. Ambroseantiques.com is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or typos and will guarantee only the BOLD TITLE of a description. Photographs are available for $3.00 each, refundable on purchase of said item:

EXCELLENT:
100% original in visible details, in better than 85% overall finish and condition. No wear visible, damage or extensive finish loss. Slight wear overall or to specific areas (noted).

VERY FINE:
All original with some handling and areas of wear present. Some minor restoration (noted) and overall general aging. At least 75% original condition.

FINE:
At least 50% finish remaining with signs of handling, wear and obvious use. Some restoration (noted).

VERY GOOD:
More than 35% finish remaining. Obvious wear, use, repaired damage, refinishing/restoration and replaced parts (noted).

GOOD:
Little original finish remaining with obvious heavy use and /or wear may have some replacement parts (noted).

FAIR:
Virtually no original finish. With heavy signs of use and with replacement parts, refinishing and/or repairs (noted).
